K-9 Alert Search and Rescue Dogs, Inc. is happy to provide demonstrations to show how search and rescue dogs work and to provide education on what to do should you become lost.
Our program includes an explanation of how we work with the Virginia Department of Emergency Management. How we get called out and deployed and the areas and environments in which we operate. We demonstrate how we train our dogs from the first day all the way to passing the state required certifications and field tests
We can tailor a program to your needs. We provide demos to school groups, scout troops, ground search teams, and law enforcement agencies. If appropriate we even let someone "get lost" and show how a search dog makes the find.
